Hi everyone, Happy Tuesday. Another good fitness day today. This morning I tested out my new arm band for my phone at the gym and was so much easier to get my routine done. I got in 3.2 miles on the treadmill, 20 minutes of stairclimber, and 15 minutes of weights.
After the gym I headed home, helped get the kids ready for school and wished Hubby a Happy Birthday. Since we are still recovering from me being out we are skipping big presents, however I did get some frames for the pictures of the kids I had printed out, and made him a nice cake for tonight.
Yes my cakes pretty much all get decorated the same way but I mix up the flavors. Its tough to be creative when you got three cakes to make in one week :-) My mom really enjoyed her marble cake with vanilla frosting last night.
Tonight for my hubby's birthday we will be enjoying carrot cake with cream cheese whipped icing.
So that I am still keeping on track with trying to lose those few holiday pounds I ventured outside at lunch today to get a little more calorie burn in. The weather is beautiful, the sun is shining, the snow is melting and I ended up carrying my coat half way through as I was too warm with it on, a rarity around here for January.
Today I started out behind the building and explored a little more of the office park
I ended up getting another 2.36 miles in and got a nice dose of vitamin D.
This afternoon will be more reading and watching webinars. Tomorrow is the start of our more formal training which will be a nice change as I tend to get more out of a structured session than to be left on my own.
Time to get back to work. Hope everyone has a good rest of the day.
