Start of Training Week

Hey everyone, Happy Monday. My posts may be a little sporadic this week due to the training workshops that I will be in.

This morning my arch was still bothering me from yesterday's longer run so instead I focused on cross training at the gym. I covered 6 miles on the bike, 20 minutes on the eliptical, and 15 minutes of weights.

Today was the first day of sessions. Its definitely a good review but at the same time I will be glad next week when I'm officially able to start doing the job.

This week they are providing us lunch. While its nice not to have the expense, I can see that I might still be bringing some stuff in as today even though there appeared to be healthy choices, the salad had a good amount of dressing on it, and so did the sandwhiches. When you are used to making your own salad and controlling the calorie intake this can present a problem.

I did eat some of the salad, the turkey out of the sandwhich, and a little pasta salad. I also had a couple bite sized pieces of cheesecake. Because I know this wont hold me until dinner I made a quick run to starbucks for some provisions.

Well better get ready for sessions to start again. Hope everyone is having a good start to the week.
